I've never posted before, but I've learned a lot reading all the topics that are
discussed here. It's been very helpful to me as a new records manager and
I'm hoping you can help me.

I'm in the middle of writing an RFP to select a vendor(s) to shred on-site at
our 1,000+ retail locations for an initial clean-out of all our paper records and
on-going shred services as needed.

I've read some of the archives from a few years ago and it appears as if
invoicing and customer service are two of the biggest areas that fall short
with this type of work, especially when the vendor is expected to visit many
different retail locations.

Do any of you have a "go to" list of questions or a top 5 or 10 questions that
you feel are important to ask in this type of RFP? Anything you can give me
would be helpful, but I'm especially looking for those odd types of questions,
that a new records manager might not think to ask.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks
