Phone-Hacking Probe Raises Questions About Who Erased Milly Dowler Voice

The deletion of voice mails from the girl's phone soon after she went
missing, which gave her family false hope that she was still alive, was
widely attributed this summer to News of the World, News Corp.'s now-closed
tabloid.
It now appears possible that the tabloid wasn't responsible for deleting
the voice-mail messages, according to a British press report citing police
sources.
