I agree with Angie's comments regarding a combination of education and
certifications.  When I did my CRM a year ago, it brought me into area's
which I probably never would have dealt with or investigated.

For me, my biggest learning curve has been from this listerv as well as
attending ARMA or AIIM conferences.  The conferences allow you to pick
people's brain and discover how others are performing their tasks and
duties.  The sharing of information in this community is incredible.

For me, I always look forward to Larry and Pat's posts (OK don't get a
swollen head) and Peter's RAIN.  I always read them.  Technology these
days seems to be a moving target and trying to keep up with it is almost
impossible.  So as RM's we need to keep on keeping on.

With what I've said above, and in light of this festive season, I would
like to say thanks to all for making my experience that much sweeter.  

I trust everyone has a very merry and happy Christmas.  Remember the
reason for the season.
