In the James Fallow article "Hacked" -  The statement that mentioned the fallacy of security in the Cloud is one that will be proven time and again. Also, once an event like this happens, these Cloud people treat you like you are the dummy for being hacked and you are hurting their reputation.

As yesterday posts discussed, you can hire a hacker for $400.00.  So the cost is not prohibitive if someone has a grudge against someone else.

One would think Google would have a whole data center filled with people to assist people with a problem, restore their identity, and who immediately go after the hacker and shut them down.  

I believe the Cloud has so much more in store for us in terms of heartache. There was a movie recently where someone wakes up from a car accident to find their entire identity is taken over. This story about being having your web identity seems very close to this. Especially when you consider how much of our lives are spent on line.
