Charleston Gazette - West Virginia News and Sports -
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- More than four years after he was fired without
explanation, longtime state archivist Fred Armstrong's wrongful termination
grievance reached the state Supreme Court Tuesday.
His attorney, Charleston lawyer Jim Lees, argued that throughout the
process, Armstrong, who had worked for the state for nearly 30 years,
including the last 22 as state director of archives and history, has never
had the opportunity to give his side of the story.
