Join Project Performance Corporation and Concept Searching for the third in the Series of Expert Webinars focused on SharePoint 2010. Make calculated decisions on when it is important to invest in a third-party tool for SharePoint and when it is not necessary. This webinar will discuss Case Studies on how the Term Store for SharePoint 2010 was leveraged in different ways to manage content, and when and where third-party tools became necessary.

Project Performance Corporation will review the different strategies you can take to leverage the Term Store effectively, and in a manner that suits the business objectives and culture of your organization.

We will also review the difference between proprietary taxonomy solutions that replace the Term Store and those that integrate natively with the Term Store, and why that is important to both end users and the Enterprise. And we will demonstrate the conceptClassifier for SharePoint, Concept Searching's integrated Term Store Taxonomy and Auto-Classification solution, that leverages Project Performance Corporation's strategy and best practices

Please be aware that this webinar will focus on augmenting the Term Store and information management and will not touch on other third-party tools offered for the SharePoint eco-system.

What you will take away from this session:
* Learn strengths and weaknesses of SharePoint 2010's information management capabilities
* Common information management goals will be discussed and the solutions to their information strategy
* Learn about several third party information management tools for SharePoint 2010
* Best practices on managing content with the Term Store
* Aligning business culture and practice to the Term Store
* Why and when to use third-party tools?

Guest Speaker:
Todd Magnusen, Senior SharePoint developer at OppenheimerFunds, is responsible for the development of the firm's strategic vision and business line roadmap for SharePoint. Prior to his work at OppenheimerFunds, Todd spent many years rolling out SharePoint solutions as a consultant. He is certified in both SharePoint 2010 development and administration. A developer all his life, Todd has spent several years as the IT Manager for a small company. During that time, SharePoint arrived and it was easy to see the path it would take.
