Unlocking the Potential of Record Management Services

Program: After participation from 19 US Government agencies and sponsorship from the Object Management Group (OMG), the emergence of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)-led Records Management Services (RMS) specification sets a new direction for standards and solutions in the information management space.  Learn more about how RMS could provide a new generation of cost-effective approaches for modern data-swamped organizations that are trying to manage a growing set of diverse repositories.
 
Speaker:Mike Huberty is currently Business Development Lead for the Civilian Enterprise Application Solution group in Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems and Global Solutions (IS&GS) division.  Mike has been addressing solutions in the information management domain since 2007 and specializes in digital preservation and automation.  During this time, he was Program Manager for the National Archives and Records Administration’s Electronic Records Archives (ERA) project.  In addition, he has worked with the UK National Archives in developing their vision and solution for Digital Continuity.  During his 15 years in the UK, Mike also leveraged his program management and engineering skills in the fields of Air Traffic Control and Postal Automation.
 
Menu:  Dinner will include house salad, soft drinks, dessert, and your choice of either: Pasta alla Vodka or Chicken under Brick.  Cash bar will be available.

Cost: Online registration with credit card, $35.00 for ARMA members and $40 for non-members.
