One week remains to register for the SLA Maryland Chapter Program:

Taxonomies and Thesauri: Tools. Tips. Terminology.
Monday, May 14, 5:30-8 pm

Don't miss out!  One week remains to register for the SLA Maryland Chapter's spring program, "Taxonomies and Thesauri: Tools. Tips. Terminology.," at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory on Monday, May 14th.

This will be an evening presentation by Gail Rayburn, a Taxonomist for the ITSD Information Group of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.  Ms. Rayburn will provide a presentation on important taxonomy terms, taxonomy structures, controlled vocabulary, enterprise taxonomies, and more!

A "Taste of the Mediterranean" buffet dinner will be served, along with assorted beverages and dessert options.  Parking is convenient and free.

Word and letter based icebreakers and raffle items (including Scrabble and its "little brother," Bananagrams) will also be a part of the evening-so come out and show your colleagues your favorite seven-letter words.
