Having attended 20 or so conventions, not to mention other associated conventions (AFCOM< PRISM, SAA, NARA, etc.) what are we missing that two years later will say, that was a waste of time.
How many discussions on the Cloud and why RM's just won't get it, or VM Ware, or Knowledge Management or AIIM is replacing ARMA and on and on that in 2014 will look stupid?
Records Management has stayed strong because it relies on immutable laws that prove themselves time and again. But conferences tend to focus on the new and untried and ignore some of what makes this profession mission critical no matter who is attacking it.
As Seinfeld used to say "Who's better than me?" so what are the 7 Laws of RM that make the profession the absolute best for the organization?
WAIT, THE CRICKETS STOPPED!
;~)
