In Edmonton, Alberta, it's perogies/pyrohy; in Fredericton, New Brunswick,
it was samosas - why, I don't quite know, but they took the samosa very
seriously indeed; and in Halifax, Nova Scotia, my hometown, it was anything
fish, including the world's best fishcakes and delectable fried clams!
