*Position Summary*
The Senior Analyst Records performs highly advanced planning, development,
and implementation of records management program work. Work involves
developing and implementing records management policies and procedures,
planning and implementing records retention programs, and electronic
repositories and providing training and support.
*Job Responsibilities*
1.       Responsible for all aspects of the global retention schedule,
including development, change management, communication, and dissemination;
inventory and analyze department records;  conduct legal research necessary
to determine retention values that comply with business objectives and
legal, regulatory and fiscal accountabilities; maintain relevant
information in the retention software application
2.       Consult, support, and train (as needed) department records
coordinators for their respective records handling procedures including
annual review and risk assessment, best practices, and compliance.
Coordinates the destruction review process with the Records Advisory Board.
3.       Maintains and provides metrics and key performance indicators to
Records & Information Manager to measure program effectiveness and ensure
efficiency goals are being met including benchmarks to legal, regulatory
and industry standards.
4.       Support and lead Records Management continuous improvement
projects, and other related projects and initiatives, including but not
limited to development and implementation of process improvements, review
and assessment of identified risk areas
5.       Facilitates and leads the coordination of instructional programs,
participates in content development; develops, implements and maintains
communication plans and associated campaigns to engage and educate
employees about document and records management functions, issues,
policies, procedures and compliance responsibilities.  Maintain the program
internal websites, forms and procedures.
6.       Lead and support the operation of on-site physical records storage
and archives to comply with corporate retention policies; manage facility
usage, inventory and tracking programs.  Coordinate the transfer, storage,
retention and destruction of records in compliance with records management
policy and retention schedules
7.       Collaborates with IT to implement appropriate procedures for
managing electronically stored records. Advise IT decommissioning team to
provide consistent direction on information management as it relates to
company records management policy.
8.       Assists with the company’s response to records requests,
litigation hold and e-discovery processes including communication,
preservation, performing and coordinating complex collections of data,
email and documents; and coordinating the organization, production and
transfer of those materials at the direction of the Records & Information
Manager and Legal Counsel.
9.       Serves as a resource to the Company in its use of OnBase including
the transition of hard-copy processes to automated electronic business
processes.  Develop expertise with the OnBase records management and
document management
*Job Skills Requirements*
·         Understanding of records management best-in-class principles and
practices
·         Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the various
record types created and maintained in a corporate setting, and the ability
to research updates to such laws and regulations
·         Working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure with
regard to electronically stored information (ESI), eDiscovery, and
litigation holds
·         Experience leading a team of employees to execute day-to-day
operations and project management preferred.
·         Understanding of technology as it relates to records management,
including SAP and other systems for creating, storing and organizing
electronic information such as OnBase, Open Text and Documentum
·         Strong verbal and communication skills, including presentation
and persuasion skills
·         Decision-making skills, the ability to work independently,
prioritize workload, recognize risks and escalate issues when necessary.  A
high level of professionalism and discretion in managing sensitive
information
·         Experience training business and records staff on electronic
records systems, policy and procedures.
·         Proficient in transitioning hard-copy record keeping processes to
electronic including automating lifecycle management of
·         Educational Requirements
·         Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college or university,
preferably in Information Management, Library Science or similar
records-related field.
·         Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation through the Institute
of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) strongly preferred or progress/desire
towards pursuing certification.
*Experience Requirements*
·         Minimum of five years of progressive records management
experience working in a large corporation with global records management
complexities.  Five years of experience developing, maintaining and
ensuring compliance with records retention schedules.
