Enterprise language and metadata sorted!
The a.k.a.® library is the repository for metadata and controlled
vocabularies. A*single source registry* where metadata sets can be created,
sorted and organized into logical categories or facets.
For the enterprise, the a.k.a.® library functions as the authoritative
source of metadata, in that it provides a single source of content which
can used multiple times and deployed into multiple information systems.
Content from the a.k.a.® library feeds all types of information
architectures: lists, glossaries, taxonomies, thesauri, data maps and *records
retention schedules* to name a few.
