No simple answer as you know.  Depends on whether you have centralized
records or not.  If you control all records and their disposition then I
would bundle and update at beginning of fiscal year.  You would probably
still have to notify the corporate attorney to the changes  as you
implement during the year in case it impacts litigation.  If departments
control disposition then I would notify them immediately so material is
not disposed of prematurely.  Depends on whether you receive prior
notice of impending dispostion (if disposition is non-centralized) or
get it on a post-hoc basis.  Just my thoughts.  Dick King, University of
