Man, it's really KEWL how all of these folks are suddenly speaking their
minds on the requirements for RM Practices to meet their needs to ensure
we're doing things right, but not involving us in the process =)
Don't know why some of this stuff isn't coming up on the dashboards of those
managing our relationships with other organizations. At least this one
defines RM is ISO 15489 terms, but the paper still seems to miss the mark on
anything outside of privacy, and doesn't really clearly discuss the
different regulations that may exist in certain States, or that you should
even give any consideration to them.
And by all means, if you want to cite a good source for guidance on Records
Retention- what it is and how to best determine how to establish it, this is
the one to cite:
Records Retention – Risk Review, PrivaWorks, Nymity (nymity.com)
WHAT?!?!?!?
