Collin Co Tx DA's office recused in records case against clerks

DALLAS — A suburban Dallas district attorney's office has recused itself
from prosecuting the felony case against the county district clerk's
supervisors.

The six supervisors in the Collin County District Clerk's office are accused
of falsifying county records to show they were on duty when they weren't. If
convicted on second-degree felony charges, they could face between two to 20
years in prison.
