Adam,

We just move it - remove it from one schedule and add it to the other.  We have Versatile Records software so we update that too.  We retain our retention schedules permanently and keep them in individual files - so I also write a little note and add it to the file if needed.

We are actually changing formats on top of this.  So, let's say that a
records series that was handled by Payroll moves to Finance (picking names
out of the air), how is this handled?
