In my sector (Higher Education) I find that most changes that occur in retention schedules come from the financial auditors (of which we have at least three sets).  Their mandates are not necessarily congruent with any State or Federal Laws or regulations and are usually longer in duration.  Dick King, University of Arizona

Hi all, just curious how often people feel they need to do a legal / regulatory refresh on their retention schedules, for records series that haven't changed.  Just sort of trying to gauge an industry average.
