Following the discovery that confidential criminal intelligence and state
secrets had been inadvertently disclosed, and had been publicly available
for a year at the Queensland State Archives, Queensland Premier Campbell
Newman harshly criticised the state's Crime and Misconduct Commission
(CMC), according to *The Australian*.

The criticism came as the state scrambled to rush emergency legislation
through parliament to undo the breach.
