over the last few weeks numerous subscribers have found themselves automagically unsubbed by the listserv. The culprit is not the listserv but rather Yahoo. To learn what the problem is follow this link "Mailing lists are a particular weak spot for DMARC. Lists invariably use their own bounce address in their own domain so they can collect the error reports from list mail, so the SPF doesn't match. Lists generally modify messages via subject tags, body footers, attachment stripping, and other useful features that break the DKIM signature. So on even the most legitimate list mail, most of the mail fails the DMARC assertions, not due to the lists doing anything "wrong"." http://www.circleid.com/posts/20140408_yahoo_addresses_a_security_problem_by_breaking_every_mailing_list/ http://bit.ly/1nHSq9n if you find yourself unsubbed just send an email to [log in to unmask] and we will resubscribe you to the list. for the management peterk listadmin recmgmt-l -- Peter Kurilecz CRM CA IGP [log in to unmask] Dallas, Texas Save our in-boxes! http://emailcharter.org http://twitter.com/RAINbyte http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/RAINbyte/ http://paper.li/RAINbyte/rainbyte http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/archives/ http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/records-management/ http://www.linkedin.com/in/peterakurilecz Information not relevant for my reply has been deleted to reduce the electronic footprint and to save the sanity of digest subscribers List archives at http://lists.ufl.edu/archives/recmgmt-l.html Contact [log in to unmask] for assistance To unsubscribe from this list, click the below link.
