I've been on this pulpit many times and preached this same sermon....

but if you want a larger dragon to slay on this subject... aim your swords
and crossbows at NARA.

Anyone who has been "holding Capstone on High" as the be-all, do-all for
Federal email management needs to take a look at the draft schedule

Permanent for email for "Senior Officials" after culling.

And 7 years for others? Irrespective of content?? and according to Item
11, it INCLUDES transitory and PERSONAL, which elsewhere in the CFR we're
told is either 180 days (Transitory) or NON-RECORDS (Personal).

What if the email is related to environmental exposure or hazards?

Item 10 doesn't say anything about "or equivalent Contractors", but Item 11
says " all other officials, staff, and Contractors not included in Item 10."

So what about Senior Officials on the Contractor side? Did they forget
about that?

In Agency schedules it states "to include scientific and technical staff,
Federal OR Contractors" in the files of Senior Officials series.
