Good point, George, about the local ARMA chapter meetings  If you are not a
member of ARMA International, you cannot join a local, which is an added
cost. But you can get on their mailing list for electronic newsletters and
attend workshops.  Some are more active than others.  I belong to the
Central New York Chapter of ARMA and our next workshop is October 15.  As a
matter of fact, I'll be presenting on long-term digital preservation in the
cloud and am looking forward to having a chance to catch up with those who
attend our 4 meetings a year.
