Subject: [RECORDS-MANAGEMENT-UK] Looking for people willing to share
experiences about records management

Hi,
I am a graduate student from Belgium, interested in reading about
professional experiences in the records management field.
It would be in the context of an article I am writing about records
disposal standards vs their software implementations; my aim is to compare
what standardization norms and recommendations (ISO-15489, MoReq2010)
specify about the disposal process (disposition authorities) with what
tools are really implemented in electronic records management systems to
guarantee the reliability of the disposal process.
Long story short, I would be glad if record managers or record management
experts/researchers would be willing to share their experience. What
software did you use ? What were your impressions of the record disposal
options in your system ? What would you have changed, if you could ? Or,
conversely, to what extent do those standards (ISO-15489, MoReq2010, or any
national/legal transposition) fit to the field reality ?
Apologies for my inelegant writing style,
Have a nice day,
Gani
