I'm sad to see this certification go.  I'm not a CIP, but I was thinking about 
it for the future -  AIIM's focus is more technical, and having a credential 
that shows you have some technical authority can mean a lot.  This is 
especially true when having to communicate, negotiate, and (sometimes) 
battle IT in order to implement information systems with proper IM or IG 
considerations in place.



I hope that AIIM and CIP recipients are able to pick up where they left off 
and keep going strong.
