My apologies for not properly introducing myself earlier. [Thank you Peter K for the reminder.]

I am an Archivist and Records Management Specialist II with the New York State Archives; specifically I am the Coordinator of the NYS Records Center. I manage our small staff of 8 with receiving, storing, and maintaining a rough total of 300,000 containers of paper records and many thousands microfilm, microfiche, reel-to-reel film, and more.  I oversee three facilities, and work with all of the NYS agencies with storing their inactive records with us, including appropriate retention and destruction.

As you might have noticed, I am in the process of vendor searching for various items not generally easily found. Be prepared for additional requests from me as it seems it is a never ending search for improvement here. Thank you to all who have replied to my earlier queries. And thank you for allowing me to join this list.
