(CEPC) is open for general comment on Google drive until 11 June 2017.

In preparing this CEPC, the Committee integrated comments and suggestions
made by leaders in Indigenous record keeping, open government, access to
information and protection of privacy, and archival theory and education,
as well as the results of the recent survey, of course.

Comments made on the posted document (above) are welcome. Emailed
comments should be addressed to [log in to unmask]

In addition to online comments, the Ethics Committee will present the draft
CEPC at the Reporting and Members' Input Session on June 8 at the upcoming ACA
annual conference <http://archivists.ca/confprog>. Please note, however,
that time for the CEPC will necessarily be limited.

Following June 11, the Ethics Committee will consider comments received in
the preparation of a final draft for recommendation to the ACA Board. If
satisfactory, a final draft will be published for approval by the
membership (means to be determined but possibly via electronic voting).
