Thank you for the suggestions. We will be updating some of the text on
our pages over the next week. I will be sure to add the disclaimers you
have noted.

Paul-

First, I'd like to say WOW... and thanks to NAGARA for creating this
portal
as a resource for the RM community. There are a lot of well written
and
researched papers in here, and some presentations that would make great
starting points for others in developing materials specific to their
organization's needs.

One thing that should be noted for consideration by those viewing the
materials is many of these are specific to certain states and local
jurisdictions, so make sure you keep that in mind when reviewing the
materials on this site. The guidance MAY NOT apply to your industry,
business sector, location, etc... but it is still a good starting point
that allows you to research specific requirements for YOUR conditions.

Another thing is to be sure you check the dates of the publications, as
some are "fresher" than others. And while many of the practices and
principles may not have changed much, some of them related to
technology, preservation, capture, conversion, etc may need to be
validated prior to use as these things change regularly.

Thanks to NAGARA for providing this resource... I think it will only
grow to become richer and better over time as more materials are added
to it!
