Flora:
For starters, take a look at IRS Publication 4221: Compliance Guide for
501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Organizations. It is available at the IRS website.
You should check the requirements of OSHA, Labor department, HIPAA, &
the Federal Trade Commission. If your church is engaged in Internet
commerce, you'll also want to check out the rules under The Children's
Online Privacy & Protection Act (COPPA) and CAN-SPAM.
Your state statutes & regulations will most likely list requirements
also.

Subject: [RM] Any statutes and regulations for church RM?
Hi:
I am a graduate student taking my first ever RM class and need to
write a report about RM. Due to my bare experience and knowledge about
RM, I chose to write a report/case study about my church, a small sized
church that serve 40-50 brothers and sisters.
I would like to know whether there is any existing statutes and
internal and external regulations for the purposes of church RM and its
audit/oversight and others as well?
I appreciate your instant input very much.
F.H.
