Hi Elaine,
I would ask other municipalities in Western Canada to share their retention
schedules, in the name of responsible government, public service etc. etc.
and if you don't get anything then go up one level to the provincial
government. Alberta is probably the most advanced of the Cdn provinces in
information management infrastructure (policy at least).
