Our boxes of records are stored by our two storage vendors. Our rules for
our staff are the same as what Larry said

<Our policy is NO EXTERNAL marking beyond a non-intelligent number and a
date range on the outside of the box.>
and, additionally, we prohibit staff from requesting file-level retrieval
service from the vendor; it's whole-box retrieval only so that the vendor
never rummages around in our boxes.
