*Disaster Preparedness*

Why is it important to prepare for the unexpected? What are essential
records? How are they identified? How are they protected?

In this workshop, Bret will address what has happened (and what can happen)
adversely affecting records, what essential/vital records are, how to
identify and protect them. In addition, the workshop will also address:

   - · Essential Functions
   - · Risk Assessments and Analysis that include environmental
control, pest control and fire protection
   - · Things to consider when responding to a records emergency
   - · Continuity of Operations
   - · Recovery Considerations

To help illustrate points discussed, a couple of videos will be shown while
in class and two in-class exercises will be conducted to ensure attendees
have a thorough understanding of the lesson.
