I realize I'm speaking from someone who sells one of these "add-ons", but I
can tell you there has been no real strides made in the latest version to
change RM capabilities in SharePoint.  If there weren't enough features for
you 3 years ago, there still won't be.

However, there have been some good governance additions to SharePoint/SP
Online, with features such as DLP.  We have written several articles about
it here: http://blog.recordlion.com/sharepoint
