The other ideas are great!

What about vendor systems? Do you have a process in place for vendors to manage your records appropriately and for the right amount of time? Do they purge records as they should? Are there audits you can put in place?

What about centralizing processes? Are there processes in place at your company that make it hard to comply with the retention schedules? Can you make recommendations to get the right people working together to analyze the processes?

Hope these help.

Thanks,
          Denise

Subject: RM Objectives

Good afternoon,

It's time to write the records management objectives for the upcoming year...does anyone else other than me run out of ideas??? I mean, once you have an established program; what else can you do?? I'm always looking for better processes, etc. but actual "objectives" ??

*         Investigate record retention software

* Find replacement software for InfoPath....these types of things.

Anyone else get in a funk - or don't you have to come up with department objectives??
