Good afternoon,

Just got a request from our HR folks to review the 6Y retention of payroll and salary administrative records because of the Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, as they may be leaning towards requesting permanent retention for them.  Is anyone else looking to change their retention period to permanent?  I met with them about Ledbetter a couple of years (and one VP) ago, and we decided not to make any changes then.  We'll get our Legal folks involved in this review, of course, but I'm just curious as to what others are doing-if anything, in this area.

If you've made (or are contemplating making) such a change, how has that impacted any HRIS systems you're using (Oracle, SAP, etc.)?
