Sharon,

And others wondering why anyone with an once of archival training, would
apply barcode labels to permanent documents--a mighty sacrilege-- it is
done routinely in such environments as county auditor's offices where new
imaging systems are in place. Many do it without giving it a second thought
because the vendors tell the purchasers and users of their system "this is
how we do it."

Sign me sadder but wiser,

Elizabeth Fairfax
Island County

Hi Greg-

Looks like Broadart sells something that may work at least on a file folder.
Why though would they want to place a label on a "permanent" document? I
think they need to work this through a little more.
