In answer to your question -- does the $3 average include charges for other services -- I would say no.  By the way, the analyst thought that record storage was a good business because customers tend to be very "sticky" (e.g. increased prices do not tend to make much difference).  The downward pressures, again according to the analyst, on storage vendor charges are primarily driven by the desire to minimize competition and discourage other parties from entering this line of business.

I wonder if that average price includes all the various services (pull, refiles, delivery)?
