Hi all,

Someone who is not on the list and wishes to remain anonymous asked whether
I knew of anyone else who has written about RM appraisal vulnerabilities. I
believe from this referenced article

http://saarmrt.wordpress.com/2013/12/05/archivesrm-ethics-co-opting-and-digital-fireplaces/

that the vulnerability is an ethical one wherein RMs might appraise stuff
as being more risky and therefore more important to destroy where the
records in question might demonstrate bad behavior - in other words
"sanitizing the record" as was done in the examples in the article.

Any thoughts I can pass along?
