The NORSAM technology is essentially microfilm in that most uses of it
involve etching images onto the storage substrate. If you have an electron
microscope, you can read the images like using a microfilm reader. If you
store digital information (e.g binary), you will have the same problem in
10,000 years as you will with DVDs in 20 years: how do you read the Word,
WordPerfect, or other information encoded on the storage media?
