Hi all,

It appears that I will be able to join many of you in DC this October for
some l'il shindig or other. Many of you know that every year at the ARMA
conference the AIEF hosts a silent auction. Some of you know that I try to
bring a gift basket to auction off. Past years have included chocolate gift
baskets and spicy foods baskets.

Here are the three I am contemplating this year. Thoughts? Feel free to
respond directly to [log in to unmask] as well.

1. Chocolate. Tried & true.
2. Colorado. I know many donors/chapters follow this route - I have bought
from ARMA Pittsburgh most years in fact (and see below)
3. Mo hotta mo betta. I like hot sauce - mo hotta mo betta. I have ghost
pepper and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion (I bought in T&T!) in my fridge and am
aware of the existence of Smokin' Ed's Carolina Reaper, which clocks in at
a tasty 1.5m+ Scovilles. Question here is whether there are enough
chileheads to justify it?
4. Something else?

I will post another note about Pittsburgh shortly.
