Unfortunately, some of my teachers in my youth would have been incarcerated for the "punishment" they issued on me...I never told my parents, but I'm sure they would have been "up in arms" about my treatment. Till this day, I've never forgiven some of those teachers despite some of them "reaching out to me" after I've achieved some measure of success in my career. (DISCLOSURE: I was a school teacher by education and taught a few years in the public school system...So I know the challenges teachers face and classroom discipline issues.)
Thank goodness, I can still sit back on my beach chair and sip my mai-tais with some measure of peace...
