Job Summary 



The Archives and Records Management Intern provides operational assistance to the Manager, Institutional Records/University Archivist within the Institutional Archives and Records Management programs. This position operates within the provisions of established legislation and regulations as they apply to the University, including the rules and regulations applicable to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy.

The Historical Resources Intern Program is a joint work/study program offered by Athabasca University and Alberta Community Development. The program is designed to provide training opportunities in the field of heritage/historic resource management, in a unique work/study setting. Interns will receive on-the-job instruction, as well as formal classroom instruction. 



Interns will be expected to complete the courses required to attain an Undergraduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Heritage Resources Management from Athabasca University by the end of their internship.

Job Qualifications
